Meet Elhadj, a 2027 graduate from Manhattan Comprehensive, who has big plans for the future!
How CYD Helped: His CYD advisor, Sarah, is working with him on exploring college options and training programs such as FDNY’s EMT program, which he is already beginning to study for. He is currently working at a paid internship at CVS through CYD’s DOE Learning to Work program.
Life in NYC: He originally came to NYC from Guinea and is working hard on learning English. Elhadj is enjoying city life and likes playing soccer in the park. Dream: He hopes to become a doctor and is also interested in civil and military service.
