The Eagles (in blue) finished out their undefeated season with a win over Lower East Side Prep

The MCNDHS Eagles table tennis team is taking New York City by storm, closing out the regular season with a thunderous, undefeated 12-0 record. They enter the post-season looking to secure their fourth PSAL Championship.

Under the leadership of head coach (and math teacher) Riaz Jurney, the Eagles have become a legacy team over the last few years with three championships and consistently impressive players, both at the table and in the classroom. Coach Jurney says the student athletes learn a lot more than just what it means to win. “The multicultural diversity of our team creates an enriching environment for our students that promotes a greater understanding of their identity and the world around them.”
