Executive Director Michael Roberts was invited to be an inaugural member of New York City Employment and Training Coalition’s Workforce Policy Strategy Council.

The Policy Council is a new council within the Coalition to provide additional space for coalition members to inform policy recommendations and strategies, and develop a vehicle for more active external policy engagement with key stakeholders. The 27 members selected to serve on the Policy Council will represent their organizations and will be actively involved in NYCETC advocacy, ideation and practice, using their direct service expertise on specific sectors, communities and program models to inform and enact NYCETC’s priorities and strategy.

“I’m so pleased to be a member of this council. Together as a group, we can make a huge impact on workforce opportunities across the city and for young people ages 14-24, the population we serve at Comprehensive Youth Development,” said Roberts.
