CYD Career Academy students gained hands-on experience at NYU Langone/CUNY’s NYSIM Lab. Each student participated in a session with a medical manikin, taking medical histories and vital signs and responding to the symptoms of a “patient,” operated through a control booth by Dr. Wesley Pascual of CUNY BMCC, who then reviewed each session with the students. It was a wonderful opportunity for these future Medical Assistants to practice and analyze their skills.
