The students are back! CYD caught up with some new and returning students at our partner schools to find out about their hopes, challenges, and joys in the new school year.
I’m excited about being back at school, seeing my old friends from last year, and making some new ones this year!

What I love most about school is my teachers! The hard part for me is getting here on time every day. I have a tendency to procrastinate. My goal for the future is to be a forensic pathologist.

I’m looking forward to graduating this year! I like science, and I’m planning to become a general mechanic.

I’m doing AP English and other AP classes this year, which means that time management will be challenging. I’m looking forward to preparing myself for college and graduating, but first I want to have a good senior year!
