Thanks to CYD’s Board Members, students got a wonderful glimpse into professional futures at three volunteer events this month!
At Goldman Sachs, Dean Backer, Partner, and Ramey Watkins, Managing Director, hosted a professional development session for our students. Goldman Sachs staff members sat down one-on-one with young people and conducted mock interviews, reviewed résumés, and discussed career goals.
Mauricio Espinosa, Managing Partner, ClearDusk LP, came to CYD to speak with new MCNDHS students – in Spanish! Students enjoyed a conversation in their home language about adapting to life, school, and work in the U.S.
Jeffrey Hellman, Senior Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at PVH, led a virtual panel of PVH employees to introduce students to careers in accounting.
