Welcome to the new school year! Our theme this year is Get on Board! It is time for us as a community to Get on Board and help build educational equity for young people across New York City. Graduating high school is a big deal, but being prepared for what lies ahead is even bigger. And it requires resources.

The students we serve will need to work while attending higher education and need information earlier in their high school careers on how to acquire skill sets and lattice through their educational journeys. This year, we are expanding our in-school workplace preparation curriculum: we will provide digital literacy training and partner with corporations to provide financial literacy training. We also want to increase our college and career advising staff so that we can serve more students and give them more time to plan before graduating.
