CYD’s Summer College Prep program at HPHS enjoyed a strong annual session, with support from the NextGen Leaders! Our team of advisors at HPHS worked intensely with rising seniors to prepare them for college admissions. CYD NextGen Leader Kendall Brown and volunteer Sheila Nealon, who has a background in educational publishing and college recruiting, helped with college essay review, and NextGen Leaders Caroline Abikaram and Esteban Monge-Morera participated in a panel, sharing their college experiences and what they learned from them. Students earned certificates in college readiness and are ready to begin the college application process – and CYD will be there every step of the way.
