Michael Braun was looking for an organization that supports students with a strong education and support network. He found it at Comprehensive Youth Development with the help of the Robin Hood Foundation. “I am lucky enough to have come from a reasonably well-to-do family where financial and emotional support were readily available. As an adult, I was lucky enough to provide my sons with a private school education and an even greater support network. Knowing how valuable those things are, I felt a real need to align myself with an organization that helps provide the same to kids who do not have the same support. I’m most passionate about Comprehensive Youth Development providing a safe-place for kids, many of whom may have no other place to feel safe.”
Michael runs a multi-family office which helps wealthy individuals manage their personal finances. He’s served on the board since 2013. “I feel very lucky to be collaborating with such a talented group. I so appreciate their guidance and patience as I slowly got up-to-speed with my various responsibilities.”
