Jessica M. Phillips

Jessica M. Phillips is a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase where she is General Counsel for Asset & Wealth Management Regulatory Programs. She leads a team responsible for supporting significant contentious matters and regulatory-driven programs affecting the firm’s Wealth Management and Asset Management businesses globally. Most recently, Jessica was Head of Legal for JPMorgan’s Private Bank in the U.S. where she managed a team providing legal advice across the Private Bank’s banking, credit, investment and wealth planning offerings. Jessica has also served as Deputy Head of the Government Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement group at JPMorgan, and as a litigation and fixed income attorney at Bear Stearns. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Jessica was an associate at Covington & Burling and a law clerk for the Honorable Shira A. Scheindlin in the Southern District of New York. Jessica graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a B.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and received her J.D. from Yale Law School. Jessica lives in New York City with her husband and two daughters.
